Mandate
The mandate of this project was to design a vernissage poster announcing the exhibition of the 2021 Dawson Graphic Design cohort.
Process
The main challenge I was facing in designing this poster was to show why the year 2021 was so different from the other years. What made this year so special. I used an ellipsis –the punctuation symbol "..."– as a visual representation of the pause that occurred in our lives this year due to the
global pandemic.
outcome
Because of the simplicity, boldness and message of the piece, it stands strong.
